For the past couple of years, I have been consuming my information content in two media forms:

Web logs

Podcasts

Both of these can be finely tailored to include only things of interest to me. I estimate that I get it right 80% of the time.

This means that at any given time, I have access to information that strongly educates and entertains me.

Compare this to my estimate of other media like books, magazines, and TV. I reckon that only 20% of these get it right.

PS Before the internet ruled, my retail therapy was books and magazine on whatever I was interested in at the time. My new media has replaced this. I have not bought a book or magazine for years.
